I had a ton of fun catching up with now-DC-exclusive comic writer, Jeremy Adams, at this year’s Calgary Expo. Adams and I have chatted a couple times prior to this and I’ve also moderated some of his past panels at shows. But hey, if you missed our previous interview, you can watch it once you’re done with this fun chat.
So, at the 2025 Calgary Expo, I asked Adams if we can get away from his table and do a walk-and-talk-comics chat, and thankfully, he was up for it. Nothing like weaving in and out of comic fans and cosplayers recording an interview. Okay, when last we left off, FLASH GORDON #0 had just been released (May 2024) to much fan love and anticipation of more great things to come. Now fast forward to this year where his stories have been so well received and loved that signed an exclusive contract with DC. Meaning, we’re destined to see many more stories from Adams via DC titles and this is a VERY good…no GREAT thing for fans. And man oh man has Adams delivered. His work on Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Aquaman and many other DC event titles gives us no shortage of incredible character development, fun storytelling and something to look forward to every time you walk into your local comic shop.
